  Important nature reserve in limerick. If you are heading from limerick take the bridge, then the riverside trail and check the pier on the shannon while you are in the area!

  A wonderful place to walk the dog feed the birds or simply get a little exercise with the kids. The Westfield wet lands are a fragment of the previously more extensive Shannon estuary Wetlands that were made up of marshes and tidal mud beds it plays home to a variety of species including urban red foxes hedgehogs various amphibians as well as being over wintering spot for various species of water Birds

  Is pretty small,but is good place for walking.Is not too far from the centre of the town.

  I go here to feed the ducks with the kids as there is a decent jetty to stand on. Only dissapointment here is can be people gathering and drinking which could be intimidating for some people.
